Here is a small selection of work carried out for our clients.

Present-June 2009

Vertical Blinds & Dining Rooms

A dining room leading on to the patio that we fitted with a large vertical blind to keep the heat of the day out that utilizes Solar Protective Coating SPC fabric, but also lets the light in. The is protect the wooden table an dthe carpets from fading.

We also fitted 3 Velux windows to the loft conversions as the bedrooms have been very hot this summer with the sun streaming in. We fitted black out blinds to the bedrooms, which means you can sleep in even during daylight hours. A more gentler light diffusion fabric was fitted to the hallway landing to give light but cut glare and protect carpets.

Perfect Fit Conservatorys

We thought we would show you some images of a conservatory garden room dressed in a mixture of blind. The main windows with Roller Blinds with Ritz Scalloping and Antique Piping while the side facing windows are dressed using Perfect Fit Roller Blinds that match the PVC double glazing and appear to be part of the conservatory.

This blend removes any nasty gaps in the dressing of the windows that would occur in the corners. They provide individual control on the side windows without being just one big overpowering blind.

The perfect fit blinds also allows easy access to and from the garden without needing to raise or lower the blind. They are naturally part of the door.

Jan-June 2009

We have been rather busy of late so have not managed to update our latest clients page. Vertical blinds seem to be our customers most favorite blinds. For a change we thought we would show you some pictures of large roller blinds that we have made for customer.

The summer has finally arrived and we are getting a lot of calls from people who are overheating in their conservatorys. We stock a huge range of different fabrics suitable for conservatorys. We use special fabrics that let light in but keep the heat out which use special coatings to the reflect heat. We supply a range of pleated and shaped pleated blinds for conservatorys and conservatory roofs.

Bedroom - Large roller blind made with Ritz scallops and cream caramel braid to complement existing curtains and bedspread.

Kitchen - A Very wide 2.5m roller blind made from one piece of fabric with a leaf pattern. Previously it was just too hot to work a tthe kitchen sink as the sun came blasting through. We wanted to use a fabric that still let the light in but kept the heat out.

January 2009 Mrs D of Downderry

Mrs D wanted to remove the existing linen curtains from her lounge as they spoilt the clean lines, and made the room feel cluttered. She also liked the idea of using wooden blinds of a colour that would harmonise with her furniture and flooring.

Lounge - Installation starts, removal of curtains.

We were able to offer Mrs D a set of made to measure wooden Venetian blinds in a warm honey colour. The blinds chosen had slats that were 35mm wide, that could be raised and tilted to control the light levels and the view, whilst offering privacy from the outside.

Lounge - Blinds fitted with slats open

Being good quality wooden blinds they have a nice solid feel to them, and are quite heavy compared to other types of blinds, and need to be fitted with a centre support bracket, as well as the side brackets to give the extra support required.

Lounge - Blinds with slats closed

These style of blinds are available with wooden slates in 25mm, 35mm and 50mm widths. We have many different wooden shades that are sure to fit in with your décor.

Lounge -All finished, nice and warm, and very relaxing.

Well the finished results speak for themselves. The space feels much larger, warmer, and more relaxing to be in.

December 2008 Mr & Mrs H Liskeard

Mr & Mrs H were having problems, as they felt that they were living in a goldfish bowl, and had no privacy day or night. During the day sunshine made viewing the TV difficult, but at the same time they also wanted the room to appear light, but nice and warm of an evening. We spent a couple of hours with Mrs H showing here what was available from curtains, shades, screens and blinds, along with all the wonderfull fabrics at her selection.

Mr & Mrs H choose a pair of vertical blinds that could be split draw opened, and left split opened so that they could use their front door. The vertical blinds also solved the problem of directring light away from the TV during the day while providing privacy. The vertical blinds werefinished with a beautiful light coffee coloured fabric that blended in with the walls, floor and leather chairs. The fabric was also machine washable  should they  need cleaning.

November 2008 Mrs T Liskeard

A selection of 3 roller blinds that were fitting for Mrs T. Roller blinds are an ideal blind for the kitchen. The fabrics chosen  suited her existing work tops and color scheme, also gave good privacy in the evening and did not interfer with items on the window sills.
